‘Romance
of the Seasons’ was
the theme for Patricia Bolton’s
demonstration and our stage was certainly colourful by the end of the evening.
A wide variety of unusual containers (several constructed by Patricia’s
husband) were filled with garden foliage and colourful flowers such as
anthuriums and protea for summer;
spray carnations and lilies for a beautiful water feature; roses, carnations and
hypericum seed pods for autumn and spring flowers for a traditional Maypole.
Patricia’s
stories kept us amused while she worked and everyone had an entertaining
evening.
