An hour and a half of fun and laughter was the result of the demonstration by Barbara Boswell and Maureen Noone.  

Barbara and Maureen, both members, took it in turns to show us how, using exactly the same flowers, they could construct both modern and traditional arrangements.  

They also gave us tips such as putting aspidistra leaves into an inch of anti freeze gave them a beautiful light tan and how to make a focal point of a tulip by folding out the petals to show off the centre.  

By the end of the evening the stage was full of colour and, once again everyone was vying with each other to win their favourite arrangement in the raffle.  Margaret Miller
