demonstrator was Adele Kent from Hethersett, Norfolk.
Her theme was ‘Woody’s Tours’ and she entertained us with memories
and stories from her travels.
From diamond factories in Amsterdam, depicted with a stunning tulip
design, to Vienna and Sachertorte (supposedly a closely guarded secret recipe
from the Hotel Sacher in Vienna) with coffee.
Adele used a variety of foliage from both her own, and various friends’
gardens and recounted how a fellow club member invited her to come round and
help herself, which she did; only to discover later that she went to the wrong
house! By
the end of the evening, the stage was alive with colour from orchids, roses,
liatrus and garden foliage. Practice Piece by club members entitled'D.I.Y. Make your own container' an Exhibit
