'Any Old Iron'

Shirley Perkins from Leigh on Sea, Essex said she believed flower clubs should be about flowers, friendship and fun with a bit of education on the side. She provided us with just that. Lots of beautiful flowers filled the stage as she recounted funny stories and tit bits of knowledge about plants, flowers and the countryside. A great evening was had by all and many people went home happy having won an arrangement in the raffle. Margaret Miller
